The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opens in Guangzhou on 15 October 2026 and runs in three phases until 4 November.

With less than three weeks to go
- Pre-register as a buyer on the official site, buyer.cantonfair.org.cn, with your passport details exactly as printed.
- Book your hotel now. Rooms near Pazhou and Zhujiang New Town fill up and prices rise during each phase.
- Check your entry rule. Thai, Singaporean and Malaysian passports, and passports from the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain, can enter visa-free for up to 30 days; Indonesian passports need a visa. See our visa-free entry guide.
