Culture and craft experiences

Learn from the people who keep China's crafts alive. Small, private sessions with potters, tea masters, martial artists and cooks, in the places those traditions come from.

Culture and craft experiences

Learn from masters, not from a tour bus. We find the right potter, tea family, kung fu school or chef for you, and arrange the stay around it.

What we do for you

From your first message to the last day

  1. 1Tell us what you want to learn

Porcelain, tea, kung fu, silk, cooking or village life; a day or a week.

  2. 2We find the right teacher

We shortlist studios, schools and hosts that take foreign guests and suit your level, and check them before you go.

  3. 3We arrange it at local prices

Private sessions, stays near the studio or school, interpreters and shipping of what you make or buy.

  4. 4You learn hands-on

Small private sessions, with a host on call and halal meals on request.
